HELP! is a ongoing and growing installation about environmental disaster and personal responsibility. Children sized clothing is sewn from fabric made by piecing used and discarded Mylar balloons.
The installation consists of clothes hanging on a clothesline whose configuration is customized depending on the venue displaying it.
There is a collaborative element to the work as people have begun to organically and spontaneously donate balloons they have found in parks, trees, and waterways.
It is my intention that the installation be large enough to make an impact. It is my hope to find display venues where it's presence will make a difference.
